Saturday, 01 May 2010

This emphatic derby success wasn't enough to secure a top two finish for Eynesbury.

They trailed early on to a sixth minute Theo Swayne opener from just inside the box after the striker collected a long Aaron Loney clearance, but Adam Boothby levelled within two minutes, turning a free kick in from close range.

Eynesbury took charge with goals from Darren Blackall who collected a Nick Gibson pass and rounded the keeper after nineteen minutes and Boothbywho shot through Aaron Loney's legs after Dave Fisk dispossessed a defender two minutes later.

Fisk scored a Rovers fourth a minute past the hour, firing home a low drive from a Boothby pass and four minutes later Boothby completed his hat trick from the penalty spot after Scott Kingsbury was fouled by Peter Chappell.
