Division One

Wellingborough Whitworth  5    Huntingdon Town  5

Tuesday, 23 March 2010

For the second time in four days Huntingdon saw late goals deprive them of points.

Huntingdon made a great start taking a first minute lead through Jamie Graham and adding a second goal five minutes in through Stuart Eason.

Sam Northern's 36th minute goal kept the Flourmen in touch.

Eason's second restored Huntingdon's two goal margin after 55 minutes, but a quick Flourmen response saw Kris Line reduce the deficit on the hour.

With twenty minutes remaining Chris Brown strengthened Huntingdon's position but Ryan Lovall scored a third for Whitworth four minutes later.

When Graham scored his second with ten minutes left the outcome seemed assured, but the Flourmen stuck to their task.

A second Lovell goal after 85 minutes closed the gap to a single goal and Jonny Hazell equalised in the final minute.
