Stotfold  1    Sleaford Town  1

Tuesday, 16 March 2010

These sides occupied adjacent positions in the league table prior to kick off so the outcome was hardly a surprise.

A Ryan Ellis goalline clearance from Ryan Oliver denied Sleaford an early lead.

Leon Gutzmore gave the Eagles a 25th minute advantage after Josh Bickerstaff's free kick was flicked on, but Nick Bishop equalised two minutes into added time at the end of the first half, firing home from a teed up free kick from Miles Hunter.

Stotfold had the better of the second half without finding the target.

Bishop was later dismissed.
