Corinths almost pulled off the surprise of the day but were thwarted by a late Rangers fightback.

Sam Johnson's 12th minute starter had Corinths ahead at the break and they appeared on course for a much needed victory when Bobby Drain added a 65th minute second after a disputed spot kick was awarded for handball of a Johnson cross.

Substitute Ashley Stevens came to Deeping's rescue, reducing the arrears after 72 minutes and levelling in the final minute after finding space atthe back post.
