Favourites Irchester were left to reflect on chances which got away as Chenecks set up an all Northampton final against Sileby.

The Romans started well enough with Jamie Gilsenan firing them in front three minutes in.

Lee Bradley levelled after eleven minutes, punishing an error by home keeper Carl Mackney and his second effort a quarter of an hour from time gave the underdogs victory. Quite an effort it was too as Bradley caught Mackney out with a shot from fully 40 yards.
