Tuesday, 08 September 2009

Sleaford dropped their first points of the campaign in this Tattershall Road derby.

A lively start saw Gary Bull give the Poachers a first minute lead from Jon Rowan's knockdown only for Miles Hunter to equalise in the third minute with his sixth goal of the season, a spectacular long range effort.

Boston were battling the odds after twenty minutes when Laszlo Lovas received his marching orders.

When Ryan Oliver gave Sleaford the lead after 79 minutes, converting a Hunter cross after Kris Jones won possession, the visitors' winning start to the campaign looked set to continue.

The ten men had other ideas though and Rowan salvaged a point for Boston six minutes from time, finishing from close range after Andrew Scott parried fromJack Pemberton.
