The Eagles recovered from the shock of conceding a first minute opener to progress with three second half replies.

Just 20 seconds had elapsed when Michael Smith gave Badshot the lead after a good right wing run and cross from Rob Westall.

The visitors continued to have the better of the play with Brad Gillham saving well from Smith and Darren Blake hitting angle of post and bar.

Ryan Aldrin hauled Stotfold level in the first minute of the second half, bursting clear on the right and rounding keeper Mark Watson to slot home.

Stuart Lochhead put the home side in front three minutes past the hour, heading in a George Brinkman free kick.

Leon Gutzmore sealed Stotfold's win eight minutes from time, beating the goalkeeper to a long clearance as they booked a fifth last 32 appearance in the national competition.

Lochhead hit the bar with a stoppage time free kick.
