Deeping Rangers  3    Sleaford Town  2

Tuesday, 13 October 2009

Rangers came out on top in this Lincolnshire derby at Outgang Road.

Ashley Stevens gave Deeping the lead three minutes past the half hour with a header from a Mitch Griffiths centre, but Miles Hunter levelled for Sleaford five minutes later.

Hunter's second goal on 61 minutes, a lob over home keeper Lea Jordan, put the visitors ahead but parity was quickly restored by Mark Paul's cross shot just two minutes later.

Substitute Lewis Leckie won the game for Deeping five minutes into added time, latching onto Jordan's long clearance to score.

Deeping: Lea Jordan, John-Paul Duncliffe, Ben Porter, Mitch Griffiths, Dan Holyoak, Danny Hussey, Luke Kennedy, Jimmy Dean, Mark Paul (Lewis Leckie), Ashley Stevens, Scott Musgrove (Dan Jacob).

Sleaford: Andrew Scott, Tom Ward, Gary Walters, Kris Jones, Paul Ward, Temi Ajimoko, Jamie McCormack, Simon Bolland, Ryan Oliver (Jamie Shaw), Miles Hunter (Dan Reidy), Sam Kirton (Casey Kemp).
