United scored the first and last goals of the night but in between the Diamonds full timers rattled in five.

Liam Hynes gave the Motormen a twentieth minute lead from the spot after Ben Jones was fouled, but James Reid equalised with a free kick which went in off the post after 33 minutes and Dan Easlea put the Conference side in front from another Reid free kick in first half stoppage time.

Diamonds' fitness saw them dominate the second half with Nicky McNamara scoring after 55 and 57 minutes, from a Reid corner and free kick respectively and Sam Smith making it five after 72 minutes, controlling a Matt Evans cross on his chest before firing past Lee Farrow.

Danny Finlay scored an 83rd minute consolation for United, getting on the end of a free kick.
