Sleaford tore up the current form book as they ended a St Ives sequence of four successive victories.

The prolific Miles Hunter scored the decisive goal for the visitors after 63 minutes, intercepting Dan Newman's back header and leaving Sleaford undefeated in three visits to Westwood Road.

Veteran keeper Andrew Scott was Sleaford's hero with a series of fine saves including a penalty from Will Fordham after a Kris Jones foul on Claridge shortly before the visiting goal.

Paul Ward was dismissed twelve minutes from time for a second caution but the ten men held on to their lead.
