Huntingdon avenged an August Bird's Close drubbing with this narrow victory, blunting the potent Badgers attack in the process.

A James Edwards header from a Ryan Spencer cross on the quarter hour gave Huntingdon their third successive victory.

The crossbar denied Edwards a second while a superb late save from Dave Beeny denied Will Briscoe an equaliser for the Badgers.
