Wootton's quest for county silverware kicked off with an emphatic home win over their Bedfordshire League visitors

Darek Jozwiak gave Blue Cross the lead from a Sam Donadio cross after 20 minutes and a foul on Donadio enabled  Jozwiak to double the lead ten from the penalty spot ten minutes before the break.

Marc Umney was dismissed at the start of the second half but the visitors rarely threatened a comeback.

Two late goals doubled the home tally, Craig Richards scoring with a volley after 80 minutes and Steve Muggeridge completing the scoring five minutes from time.
