Saturday, 20 September 2008

Rangers completed a double over the Poachers with this Tattershall Road success, in the process moving into the top three of the Premier Division.

Ashley Stevens, whose four goal haul in the earlier Outgang Road fixture was influential in the first win, put Deeping on the way to a second after twelve minutes with a header from a Mark Baines cross, but Mark Foster equalised for Boston from a Paul Goodhand pass seven minutes later.

Dave Cornell restored Deeping's lead with a header after 29 minutes.

Paul Goodhand struck the visiting crossbar from a free kick as Boston fought back and Rangers had to wait until the final minute to make the points safe through Sam Bettinson.

Boston: Gareth Jones, Lawrence Lambley, Matt Price, Mark Foster, Shaun Baker, Nathan Iley, Laszlo Lovas, Paul Goodhand, Miles Mason (Liam Ogden), Gary Bull, Matt Kennedy.
