Daventry's promotion bid suffered another setback as they crashed to a third reverse in a row.

Junior McDougald gave St Ives a ninth minute advantage fromlong range.

With ten minutes remaining Ozie Foster added a well takensecond for the visitors.

The woodwork denied Tom Berwick a quick response and Ryan Byrne's 83rd minute reply for Daventry, a free kick from distance, was too little too late to affect the outcome.
