Boston did themselves and the other title contenders a favour as they inflicted only a fourth reverse of the campaign upon favourites Stewarts & Lloyds.

An eleventh minute goal from Gary Bull, his 23rd of the season, settled the outcome at Tattershall Road. Bull converted from ten yards after S&L failed to clear Paul Goodhand's free kick.

S&L trail tabletoppers Deeping, their next opponents, by six points with five matches in hand.
