Long Buckby  0    Boston Town  0

Saturday, 21 February 2009

The Poachers made it thirteen matches without defeat with this draw on a ground where they have a fine record in recent seasons.

Buckby are now without a win in five games and manager Adam Sandy is still to taste success since taking the Station Road reins.

Boston had the better of the opening period and Farhad Afandiyev saved well from Matt Kennedy.

Buckby were more dangerous after the interval and Russ Dunkley and Jon Crockett forced Nicky Conroy into action while Ryan Nash was inches wide for the home side and Ben Foster had a header blocked on the goalline.

Both sides had penalty appeals turned down by the referee in the second half.
