The Royals' late fightback came too late to affect the outcome of this derby tie at The Hollow.

Meshach Cole gave United a 13th mnute lead and doubled his side's advantage two minutes into the second period.

Simon Desborough replied for Potton after 53 minutes but the visitors regained their two goal lead through Emanuel Langlise after 69 minutes.

With five minutes left Martin Russell scored a fourth for the visitors, but Potton pushed forward in the closing stages and were rewarded with goals from Dean Hamilton in the 90th minute and Peter Colbrook a minute into added time.
