With Kingsthorpe Mill again unplayable this match was switched to Kester Way and the Saints made the most of ground advantage to progress with two first half goals.

Luke Knight set the ball rolling with a twelfth minute opener, firing home from 25 yards from Declan Rogers' pull back.

St  Neots ran the show in the first half and Josh Sozzo's third goal in three games after 40 minutes doubled the Saints' lead, the in form striker capuitalising on good work by Knight and Rogers.

Spencer were more dangerous in the second half with Ben Dyett's goalline cearance thwarting Kevin Slinn and Adam Hancock finding he home net only to be ruled offside.

Millers keeper Sean Markie distinguished himself with two penalty saves in the second period, first thwarting Peter Okechuwu and then Rogers.
