Cogenhoe United  2    Boston Town  2

Saturday, 24 January 2009

A late equaliser from Paul Goodhand enabled the Poachers to take their unbeaten run into double figures.

Shaun Baker gave Boston the lead twelve minutes in after the home defence failed to clear Nathan Iley's free kick but Darren Frost hauled the Cooks level nine minutes later with a well executed chip over keeper Nick Conroy.

With just nine minutes left Cogenhoe looked set to take all three points when Frost put them in front with a header from a free kick but Goodhand's 87th minute intervention after good work from Laszlo Lovas and Miles Mason earned the visitors a share of the spoils.

Cogenhoe: Darren Watts, Tim Wooding, Luke Pritchard (Damon Herbert), Nick Kingston, Joe Melling, Lee Gotch, Jed Ainge, Neil Champelovier, Dan Holman, Darren Frost, Tom McGowan.

Boston: Nick Conroy, Lawrence Lambley, Matt Price, Mark Foster, Shaun Baker (Liam Ogden), Nathan Iley, Laszlo Lovas, Paul Goodhand, Miles Mason, Gary Bull, Matt Kennedy.
