Whitworths  1    Buckingham Town  1

Saturday, 22 November 2008

These two well placed sides shared the spoils at London Road.

Ben Hill gave the Robins a well deserved lead seven minutes before the interval, winning possession in midfield and riding two tackles before netting with a 25 yard strike.

Whitworths upped their game after the break with substitute James Daldy thwarted by a goalline clearance.

The Robins looked set to hang on to clinch a vital victory but an 80th minute Paul Smith reply following Luke Raftery's right wing run and cross kept the Flourmen unbeaten under new boss Steve Orchard.
