St Ives followed on from an impressive pre-season to edge out the Shopmates at Westwood Road.

Defender Will Fordham maintained his impressive goalscoring record with the home side's 19th minute opener and they went into the interval two goals to the good after Scott Fielding marked his Saints debut with a 34th minute second.

Matt Curtis replied for the Shopmates after 52 minutes, netting from a corner arising from a Rob Mackney penalty save, but the home side were all but home and dry when Jamie Blackwell netted their third goal after 71 minutes, converting a Fielding cross.

New Raunds recruit Ashley Bradshaw scored a 30 yard consolation a minute into time added on at the end of the contest.
