It was a day for debutants at Sergeant's Lawn with newcomers scoring all three goals.

Jason Turner put Corinths ahead a quarter of an hour in with a close range header after Phil Cox flicked on a corner from Andy White, but Irchester levelled a minute before the break through Lee Wilson who got the better of home keeper Liam Flecknor in a one on one.

Irchester's cause was hindered by the 55th minute dismissal of Tyrone Hicks.

Turner's second goal twenty minutes from time settled the contest in Corinths' favour, the striker converting a Kevin Fox through pass.
