The Wakes notched their first win of the campaign in emphatic style at Leading Drove.

It was the Cuckoos who scored first with Dominic Henson their 23rd minute marksman with a fine finish to round off a six pass move and they had much the better of the opening half.

Two goals late in the first half changed the complexion of the game with Keith Gray equalising on 44 minutes following a good run from John Currall and Martin Wormall firing Bourne in front sixty seconds later from goalkeeper James Doughty's long clearance.

Gray scored a third for the Wakes after 56 minutesafter Wormall forced an error from Cuckoos keeper John Feetham and Addie Staffieri came off the bench to capitalise on good work from Gray and score two minutes from time to seal victory.
