Stotfold took another big step towards claiming a first Premier title with an emphatic success at Carters Park.

Two goals in a minute midway through the first half put the Eagles on their way to victory.

Lee Allinson opened the scoring after 24 minutes, heading in a Paul Garrett corner at the near post and he was joined on the scoresheet by Louis Lee sixty seconds later after Joel Mason's through ball created the chance.

Mark Thompson hit the post direct from a free kick at the end of the first half.

Allinson scored Stotfold's third in the first minute of the second half, converting from the spot after a foul on Ricky Case and after the woodwork denied Lee Luke Donnelly completed the scoring with a 68th minute fourth from a Garrett flag kick.

The Tigers had Omar Joof dismissed for a second caution late in the game.
