Star moved into second place in Division One on goal difference with this narrow success at Hayden Road.

Star bossed the first half but struggled tomake the breakthrough with home keeper Michael Freeman in fine form.

Ronnie Fortune scored the vital goal a minute before the interval, rounding off a flowing move, and Star now have a maximum haul from their last four matches without conceding a goal.
