United Counties Football League
2007-2008 Season

Premier Division

Holbeach United  3    Cogenhoe United  2

Saturday, 23 February 2008

With these two sides anchored in mid table nothing was riding on this game, but it proved one of the best seen at Carters Park all season.

Ian Dunn's thirteenth minute goal, a header from a Matt Warfield free kick, had Holbeach ahead at the break.

Zac Nedimovic hauled the Cooks level two minutes past the hour, heading in a Rob Foster cross and ten minutes later Cogenhoe went ahead with Foster's 29th goal of the campaign.

Dunn restored parity from long range within sixty seconds and player boss Shaun Keeble gave Holbeach all three points with the decider three minutes into time added on. The manager bounced after Warfield's free kick picked out Dunn whose shot was deflected into Keeble's path.
