Wellingborough Town 2004 2 Sleaford Town 1
Saturday, 26 January 2008
The Doughboys extended their winning run to four games thanks to a last minute own goal.
Wellingborough started well, taking a fifth minute lead through midfielder Dan Spaughton who pounced to score after Carl Sedlan failed to clear a cross, but a Jamie Shaw equaliser seven minutes into the second half following good work from Jason Sedlan on the right, looked like earning the visitors a point.
Ollie Sidney's own goal at the death gave Wellingborough victory.
