Newport Pagnell Town  1    Long Buckby  2

Wednesday, 26 December 2007

Long Buckby's late show earned the Bucks all three points at Willen Road.

Rob Macdonald gave the Swans a 23rd minute advantage after latching on to Richard Bunting's wayward back pass. Buckby had Dan Burke sent off for a second caution shortly afterwards and Newport looked set to halt a four match losing run until substitute Darren Harmon squared the match with eight minutes to play, firing home from 25 yards.

It got worse for Newport as Jason Lee scored the visitors' 85th minute winner from a Carl Holmes pass.
