Desborough Town  3    Boston Town  3

Saturday, 24 November 2007

An outstanding Desborough fightback saw them share the spoils with the Premier leaders at the Waterworks Field.

Garath Pritchard gave Boston a 14th minute lead from Paul Goodhand's free kick from the left before veteran striker Gary Bull put his name on the scoresheet four minutes before the half hour after Pritchard's run on the left wing. Mike Sneddon got Desborough up and running, punishing defensive hesitancy on the half hour but eight minutes later Boston restored their two goal margin with a Bull penalty following a foul on Pritchard.

With twelve minutes to go Desborough still trailed by two but Jamie Gilsenan cut the deficit and an 89th minute Michael Byrne effort from a Sneddon cross squared the match.
