This point took the Romans out of the bottom two as they twice battled back to peg back the Robins.

Joel McCormick's eighth goal of the season gave Buckingham a 16th minute lead, but Mark Dudley replied with Irchester's first equaliser after 34 minutes.

Parity was short lived as Aston Goss put the Robins back in front within a minute, but with a quarter of an hour to play Dave Hiscock rescued a point for the Romans.
