New AFC Kempston manager Lee Bearman had a losing start at the Walnut Boys helm as Long Buckby took the points at Hillgrounds.
A ninth minute Jon Crockett goal from a corner was all that seperated the sides at the interval, and Kempston stayed in contention until the last quarter of an hour. Dan Burke scored the visitors' second goal with a left footed shot from 25 yards after 75 minutes with Carl Holmes adding a third from close range five minutes from time after Ben Foster crossed.
