After collecting just a single point from four games Boston bounced back with this win at Roker, the first suffered on home soil by thr Eagles in league action.

Garath Pritchard gave Boston a great start with the opening goal after eight minutes as he punished a wayward clearance.

Paul Garrett missed a penalty after Ollie Pinner fouled Callum Donnelly, and two minutes past the half hour both sides were reduced to ten men as Stotfold's Mark Bryant and Boston's Pinner were red carded.

Paul Goodhand doubled Boston's lead on the stroke of half time, flicking in a cross from skipper Gary Bull, and the visitors were home and dry after 67 minutes when defender Neal Spafford scored their third goal after a solo run on the left.

Bobby Dance scored the Eagles' last minute consolation from a cutback by bfellow substitute Louis Lee.
