Holders Star made a successful first defence of the Junior Cup with a comfortable win at the far end of the county. Gary Roddis put the visitors on the way to victory after 31 minutes and ten minutes into the second half Matt Farrington added a second. Top scorer Ronnie Fortune wrapped up the scoring ten minutes from the end.
