Irchester avenged a recent reverse at Huntingdon with a 3-1 victory in the Alfred Street return. Jason Vaughan gave the Romans the lead on the quarter hour from a Mark Dudley pass. Paul Bass put Huntingdon back in the game on the hour with a close range goal but top scorer Damian Grant came off the bench to give the Romans a 72nd minute lead and the home success was sealed five minutes from time by Martyn Cain.
