Whitworths stepped up their bid for a top three finish with a derby win over next to bottom Higham. Stuart Goosey opened the scoring from the penalty spot after 17 minutes following a foul by Lankies keeper John Perry on James Westley. Devon Ellwood and Rob Foster went close for the Flourmen before Westley made the points safe with a superb header, his 17th goal of the season twenty minutes from time.
