Stones put aside indifferent league form to notch up a second cup win in four days. A 17th minute Ashley Stevens goal, a well placed lob, proved enough to give Tony Lowther's men victory over the Central Midlands League champions at Lincoln Road. Stones could have had more goals against rugged opposition who had Lee Beck red carded late in the game.
