The Badgers have proved a tough nut to crack in Division One this season and they managed to blunt the potent Doughboys attack in this tight contest at Birds Close. Richard Eddy did give Wellingborough the lead after three minutes, timing his run into the box to perfection to score with a left footed drive, but they were pegged back by a 25th minute Shaun Daly reply for Bugbrooke after the Badgers man capitalised on defensive hesitanct. The draw saw the Doughboys lose pole position in Division One while the Badgers remain fourth.
