After conceding five goals in the Knockout Cup on Wednesday Corinths leaked five more in this defeat by a Chenecks side whose win took them back to the top of Division One. Lee Haines gave unbeaten Chenecks a 17th minute lead and seven minutes before the interval the lead was extended by Jamie Nuttall.
Nuttall made it three ten minutes into the second half, but Corinths stuck to their task and hauled themselves back into the contest. Dave Briffa reduced the arrears from the penalty spot after 62 minutes and with thirteen minutes left Dallie Mandson cut the deficit to a single goal.
Two injury time goals sealed Chenecks' success with Peter Green scoring in the fifth minute of stoppage time and Justin Ayre opening his Chenecks goal account two minutes later.
