This derby went with the form book as Corinths extended their winning run to four games at the expense of a Thrapston side now without a victory in five outings. Ash Hustwayte's 26th minute effort, a chip over the visiting keeper, put Corinths on the way to a double and they wrapped up the points after the break. Dave Briffa netted the second four minutes into the second period, turning in a Tony Ielapo shot, with Kevin Fox rounding off the scoring after 65 minutes with a powerful header from a corner. With ten minutes remaining Briffa missed a spot kick for Corinths.
