Newport have a twelve point margin over the relegation zone after this emphatic victory at Occupation Road. Vinny Shrieves put the Swans on the way to a double with a third minute opener and Martin Kelly added a second for Newport after 17 minutes. Shrives added to the visitors' lead with a 65th minute spot kick with his 19th goal of the season. Geoff Hanson added a fourth goal ten minutes later.
