Wellingborough's fourth draw in five matches saw them slip out of the top four placings for the first time since October. Star are now unbeaten in eight league games after a sterling defensive display. James Daldy was closest to winning the contest for the Doughboys with two shots against the bar and one against the post. Ian Fovargue had plenty claims turned away for Star in the first half but was sent off on the hour for a second caution.
