The Walnut Boys completed a double over the beleagured Lankies to move into the top half of the table. Three goals in thirteen first half minutes all but settled the issue before the break. Gavin Batt gave Kempston a 27th minute advantage, Matt Kent added a second goal nine minutes later and Danny Marsh made it three after 40 minutes. Recent signing Craig Damon continued his good start in Rovers colours with the final goal of the afternoon twenty minutes from time.
