Chris Johnson produced another matchwinning performance for Wootton as they ran riot at Carters Park. A solitary 22nd minute sidefooted Johnson goal after Ben Chambers flicked on a Matt Jones clearance split the sides at the break, but the Tigers had no answer in the final quarter of the contest as Blue Cross found their goal touch. Johnson scored again after 65 minutes after a one on one with the keeper and as the Tigers pushed forward they were caught by speedy counter attacks. Wootton skipper Darek Jozwiak got in on the act with his 15th goal of the campaign, heading home at the near post from a Craig Daniel cross twelve minutes from time. Johnson matched his skipper's seasonal tally with his hat trick goal three minutes from the end, running from the half way line to score.
