Woodford notched up the biggest win of the Premier Division season with a demolition of the basement visitors. Nick Gordon kicked off the scoring spree after six minutes with Neil King adding a second four minutes later. Gordon scored his second twenty minutes in with Terry Fitton making it four on 34 minutes. Three minutes before the interval Gordon completed his hat trick.

The second half saw more pain inflicted on the Lincolnshire visitors. King scored his second of the afternoon on 58 minutes with Carl Standen putting his name on the scoresheet ten minutes later. A late flurry saw Gordon take his personal tally to four goals after 82 minutes, Fitton score his second three minutes later and Russ Dunkley complete the rout after 88 minutes.
