Holbeach United  2    Stotfold  3

Saturday, 26 November 2005

Stotfold took their winning run to three games with this success in deepest Lincolnshire. The Tigers went in front through player manager Shaun Keeble after 23 minutes after Omar Joof's shot was parried by keeper Nigel Blower. Stotfold equalised two minutes later when Jason Blackett was fouled and Richard Pringle fired home from the free kick via the underside of the bar. The visitors went in front on the half hour through Ady Bascombe who headed in Paul Harrington's free kick. With four minutes remaining Bascombe's second goal of the afternoon from a Harrington through ball sealed the Eagles success, Darren Cundy scoring a second Holbeach goal a minute from time with a shot which defender off defender Michael Gonzagle.
