Raunds Town  1    Newport Pagnell Town  1

Saturday, 26 November 2005

Raunds missed the opportunity to move into the top three after being held at Kiln Park by the Swans who maintained their unbeaten record in the fixture since returning to the top flight. The Shopmates took a third minute lead through Adam Hancock who latched onto a through ball from Mohamed Ali to slot home. Martin Kelly equalised for Newport in the dying seconds of the first half after home keeper Michael Freeman spilled a cross from the right. Fine saves by Swans keeper Bobby White denied Richard Bailey, Jed Ainge and Ali a winner for the Shopmates.
