Olney's indifferent home form continued - this was their fourth league defeat of the season and all have been at East Street. A strike from Corinths skipper Kevin Fox after 15 minutes gave the visitors the lead and a second from Dave Townsend ten minutes later earned the visitors a third successive league victory. Richard Beardshaw reduced the arrears five minutes before the interval with his 14th goal of the season, but it wasn't enough to earn the Nurserymen some reward from the contest.
