Harrowby's goals against tally moved into three figures despite an improved display against the in form Reds. Nicky Gordon gave Woodford an 18th minute lead with Arron Parkinson adding a second five minutes later. Paul O'Rourke netted for the third game running on the half hour for the Arrows following work by Steve Young but the Reds produced an immediate response through Gordon on 31 minutes. The visitors soon sealed their victory on resumption with Gordon completing a hat trick five minutes into the second half and Craig Pearman making it five for Woodford on the hour. Harrowby continued to battle and a Barry Payne double after 65 and 80 minutes, the latter a penalty, made the score respectable.
