Daventry Town  3    Blisworth  3

Saturday, 19 November 2005

Daventry twice led in this derby but ultimately needed a late spot kick to secure a share of the spoils. A 13th minute Dave Lancaster goal split the sides at the interval, but four minutes into the second half a Kevin Eales own goal habded the Railwaymen a leveller. Luke Pritchard's penalty on the hour put Daventry back in front but they were again pegged back nine minutes later by Jason Bradshaw's equaliser. Scott Carlin's men looked set for victory when Nick Kimmins fired them in front ten minutes from time but Pritchard kept his cool to convert a second spot kick after 87 minutes to give Town a precious point.
