Junior Cup favourites Wellingborough predictably blitzed North Bucks League hosts Silverstone to book a quarter final place. Jonathan Mitchell gave the Doughboys the lead after 13 minutes, Jake Upton added a 24th minute second and Richard Eddy made it three after 38 minutes. The win was sealed within six minutes of the restart with Eddy scoring his second in the first minute of the second half and Mitchell doing likewise after 51 minutes. Nick Mason made it six after 69 minutes before Brown reduced the arrears for Silverstone a quarter of an hour from time. Within a minute Wellingborough's tally was completed by Mitch Blande. |
